Quotations and scope

Quotations are based on the estimated number of slides, the agreed deadline and whether animations are required. Material changes to scope after work has commenced will be quoted separately.

Payment

For first-time clients a deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required before work commences. The remaining 50% is payable to MC Design Studio on completion of the project, prior to final delivery of files.

The initial deposit is non-refundable.

Timelines and rush work

Turnaround times are estimates based on the number of slides, for example 5–8 working days for 10–15 slides. They are counted from the first enquiry and assume prompt client responses at each step, including quote acceptance, deposit payment, supplying content and giving feedback. Delays in feedback or content will extend the delivery date, and complex animations may add time. Rush 48–72 hour turnaround is only available for presentations of up to 15 slides, subject to availability, and carries a rush fee of 50% of the project cost.

Reviews, revisions and approval

Each project includes a look-and-feel review and a final review, and quoted rates are based on this standard number of revisions. Revision work beyond this is not undertaken free of charge: any additional revisions or alterations will be billed at an agreed hourly rate.

MC Design Studio strives for accuracy at all times. Proofs are sent to the Client for approval prior to final delivery. The Client is responsible for carefully checking all proofs and deliverables for accuracy in all respects, including spelling, content and technical details. MC Design Studio cannot be held responsible for any errors once approval has been granted.

Content, copyright and images

By supplying text, images and other content to MC Design Studio for inclusion in any project, the Client confirms that they hold the necessary copyright and/or trademark permissions. Ownership of such materials remains with the Client or the respective copyright or trademark holder.

Licence-free images are sourced from Adobe, Pexels and Unsplash. Licensed assets are licensed to MC Design Studio; if the Client intends to use them independently or in the public domain outside of the supplied work, the appropriate licence must be obtained in the Client’s name.

Ownership and files

The Client is entitled to full ownership of all final approved artwork upon receipt of full payment of the agreed fee. Until then, all work, files and deliverables remain the property of MC Design Studio.

Final PowerPoint (.pptx) files and PDF files are supplied where applicable, or other agreed formats as outlined in the project scope. Design fees do not include the release of editable design source files (including but not limited to INDD, PSD, AI or other working files), and supplied PowerPoint files may not include the underlying design assets, templates or original source elements used to create them. Should the Client require full source files, for example for transfer to another designer, this will be subject to a separate quotation or buy-out fee.
